The olfaction-based download (Bereshit 2:7) made the human "a living being." Per Bereishit Rabbah 14:9 and the mystics — "not to be taken literally" — Nefesh (נֶפֶשׁ; anima, psyche, the impetus that animates the body) is the lowest layer, resembling firmware ("low-level hardware control"); Yekhidah (יחידה; Singularity), the highest, resembles a "cloud-based universal data-management information-integrator control-element." Akin to transhumanists, the Jewish mystics suggest God wishes to dwell in the level we experience as our lives — thus creation of the world ("Transgodism")
