Framework 37 · Ethics & Education

A proposed model — published to be tested, not believed

Normative Influences

Concealed norms steer us against our own interests; train the inner compass, decentralize governance, audit AI norms.

This framework is one piece of the whole; its full page is in preparation. The line above states its present scope.

The proposed model

Normative Influences

Norms and values are constantly, mostly concealedly imposed on us — through education captured by special interests, normative science/economics/security policy, and algorithmically micro-targeted feeds — steering behavior toward others' goals. Autonomy is recovered by training the internal compass to judge the outcomes of behavioral patterns, plus AI-norm algorithms that help communities analyze the objectives and consequences of content and policies

Bridge — none in the strict mystical↔Δ sense; the operative natural mechanism is the algorithmic feedback loop — filter bubbles/echo chambers amplifying beliefs inside closed systems

filter bubbles/echo chambers (Pariser 2011; Sunstein 2009; Yeung 2017); micro-targeting and message tailoring (Hirsh, Kang & Bodenhausen 2012); personalization-vs-autonomy literature (Borgesius et al. 2016; Gauch et al. 2007; Friedman & Nissenbaum 1997)

The mystical reading

The reading beneath the claim.

none stated in the body — this framework is deliberately secular-analytic; the trainable "internal compass" gets its mystical grounding only in neighbors (fw-32 Our Qompass, fw-33 Ethical Intuition), not here

In practice

Something to do, not only accept.

Train your internal compass to judge which behavioral patterns oppose your interests; deploy community AI-norm analysis of content/policies; structurally, relocate autonomy into small self-governing entities (SEVEN BRANCH, MAYORCHY), with SPIRITOPLASTICITY as the foundation for weighting influencers' recommendations
