Proposed Model: in the universal confederation of Cantons, Cities, and Communities (3Cs), nation-states dissolve and national militaries are replaced by Canton-organized Civil Guards — and the defense colossus's resources (over $2 trillion yearly including PMICs) are redirected, not abolished: they finance research, development, engineering, production, and servicing of 55+ state-of-the-art smart cities and spiral farming
