A proposed model — published to be tested, not believed
Mixersize
Distinct yoga, tai chi, and pilates movements strengthen the body's midline, brain to reproductive organ.
This framework is one piece of the whole; its full page is in preparation. The line above states its present scope.
The proposed model
Mixersize
Proposed Model: a platform examining activities and distinct movements within exercises such as yoga, tai chi, and pilates mainly to strengthen the midline of the human body — starting within the brain, down to the larynx, neck, spine, heart, stomach, pelvic floor muscles, and the reproductive organ. Sports such as swimming, cardio, or weight training benefit overall health, muscle tone, and bone mass; the stress falls on exercises strengthening the trunk, joints, ligaments, nerves, etc
In brief
The argument in one read.
MIXERSIZE is the movement practice of the whole. Where SCENTAYAMA (fw-25) trains the breath, ORAL HARMONY (fw-28) the mouth, and GASTROHARMONICS (fw-24) what the body eats, MIXERSIZE trains how the body moves — and it makes one wager the fitness industry never makes: that the target of movement is not "the core" but the body's midline, a single continuous axis running starting within the brain, down through the larynx, neck, spine, heart, stomach, pelvic floor muscles, and the reproductive organ. The name is literal: it mixes the distinct movements of yoga, tai chi, and pilates — which load and tune that axis — with the general sports (swimming, cardio, weight training) that build overall health, muscle tone, and bone mass but stress the periphery (trunk, joints, ligaments, nerves). Neither layer alone trains the whole body; the practice is the mix.
The scientific spine is that the midline is a real anatomical through-line, not a metaphor. The embryo organizes itself around the midline first — the primitive streak, then the notochord and the neural tube that becomes brain and cord. The vagus nerve threads that same axis, innervating the larynx, the heart's pacemaker, and the stomach from one brainstem origin. Beneath it, the core canister (diaphragm and pelvic floor moving as one pressure system) and the deep front myofascial line trace an unbroken sheet from the pelvic floor up through the diaphragm, around the heart, to the throat and cranium. Yoga, tai chi, and pilates place slow, midline-organized load on exactly this axis; swimming and cardio spare the skeleton the impact that builds bone. MIXERSIZE reads that division of labor as a prescription to combine, not choose.
The mystical spine — offered boldly as Proposed Model, every novel reading flagged for the owner — reads the same axis as the middle pillar (Amud haEmtza'i, עַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי) of the Tree of Life: the pillar of harmony mediating right and left, whose stations fall as Keter (crown / head), Da'at (throat), Tiferet (heart), and Yesod (foundation, the generative organ). Movement is avodah (עֲבֹדָה) — the one Hebrew word for both labor and worship — and the pedagogy is na'aseh v'nishma (נַעֲשֶׂה וְנִשְׁמָע, "we will do and we will comprehend," Shemot 24:7): the body understands the axis by moving it, the way balance on a bicycle is learned only in the doing.
The bridge phenomenon that holds both readings is the axial midline itself — the one place where the neuraxial/vagal/fascial through-line and the sefirotic middle pillar name the same column from crown to foundation. MIXERSIZE is speculative and bold by design: not a workout plan but a claim that to move the midline well is to tune the body's pillar of harmony — and the only proof it seeks is the reader's own, felt in the doing.
In practice
Something to do, not only accept.
Perform the midline-strengthening movements drawn from yoga, tai chi, and pilates; keep swimming, cardio, or weight training for overall health, muscle tone, and bone mass
